Die Saxophonschule richtet sich an Jugendliche und Erwachsene und ist am Lerntempo der Zielgruppe ausgerichtet. Nach einer kurzen Einführung in das Instrument werden schon kleine Stücke mit den ersten Tönen gespielt. Strukturiert und abwechslungsreich haben die SchülerInnen am Ende des Bandes musikalische Grundkenntnisse und Voraussetzungen für einen schönen Klang erworben sowie einen großen Tonvorrat erlernt.
Das Spielbuch, das genau auf das Erlernte der Schule abgestimmt ist, enthält motivierende Stücke in verschiedensten Stilrichtungen. Neben Stücken für Saxophon und Klavier sind auch Arrangements für Saxophonensemble enthalten.

Die MP3-Downloads, die zu vielen Stücken mit und ohne Saxophonstimme zur Verfügung stehen, dienen als klangliches Vorbild und akustische Lernhilfe.
