The Author: In this book I have tried to explain all aspects of beginning flute playing in a simple way
Present wisely and with a minimum of words. I hope that my suggestions will help the teacher
and help the student. The inclusion of color photographs will enhance the student's understanding,
improve how the whole thing should look.

I suppose the old arguments about hand position, fingering the "B" and articulation
will last forever. So I contributed some explanations on the technical aspects.
I put phrase markers and dynamics symbols on some tracks, but mostly
I left it to the discretion of the teacher.

The accompanying CD is intended to expand the young flute player's musical awareness by
various accompanying sounds created on the synthesizer.
